The Green Clipper Sport is a front rotary mower and developed for mowing sports fields and other frequently maintained large areas of lawn. The Green Clipper Sport is mounted in the lift of the tractor.
The cutting area consists of four fully independent suspended mowing decks, each with a width of one meter. The outer mowing decks are foldable. Optionally, it is possible to make the outer mowing decks independently of each foldable.
The mowing decks can be adjusted to the desired cutting height by means of a mechanical height adjustment (washers).
The energy for the electric motors is supplied by a flexible compact high efficiency PTO powered generator on the back of the tractor. Which is easy to disconnect.
On level terrain the Green Clipper Sport can achieve high working speeds without affecting the mowing quality.
The high RPM of the blades ensures a very good spread of the grass clippings. This litters also functions as mulch. This means that an extra sweeping round is not necessary.
Due to the high RPM the blades suck the grass upwards, which results in a mowing at even heights.
Grass clippings are nice and evenly dispersed even in very wet conditions. These properties cause that the Green Clipper Sport can be used, just like the rest of the Green Clipper family, almost independent from weather conditions.
The solid construction and a minimum of moving parts make sure the Green Clipper Sport requires low maintenance.
The Green Clipper Sport is attached to the front of the tractor, therefore the view of the driver on the field is very good. Because the mower is at the front of the tractor, the grass is not driven flat before being mowed.
Due to the it’s own low weight a compact tractor is possible and there is virtually no rutting.
The fuel consumption of the Green Clipper Sport is an average of around 3.5 liters per hour (depending on tractor).
